Ocean Clean Up with Magtoc Crew

Tayrona Monkey Foundation teamed up with local mining company, Magtoc, to educate their employees on sailing and ocean conservation. We sailed to Playa Grenate to collect debris from the beach and ocean. We taught the employees how to snorkel and used a net to collect the trash from the ocean floor. We stopped for lunch on the way back to shore to reward the team for a job well done. Collectively we gathered over 50 kilos in trash! Check out some photos from our day below.
